Happy New Year!
i didn't get to play full-time in this contest, but did get in 8-1/2 hours in
two shifts - 8:00z to 13:00z and 20:30z to 00:00z. I was able to find some
frequencies to run on and did that almost the entire time... boy it felt good
to have them flooding in one after another! I don't think I called CQ longer
than 5 minutes ever! My best rate was right before the end when I had 54 Qs in
the last 60 minutes. Leading up to that I had 72 Qs in the last 90 minutes, 90
Qs in the last two hours and 130 Qs in the last three hours. There was a band
change from 20 to 40 in there and some lost time finding an open frequency. The
equipment worked great and the operator only screwed up a couple of times.
