This was an exercise in humility. I have been trying to get back to my
California QTH for the last ten days and have been stuck at our NH QTH. In the
morning I decided to try the NAQP. I assembled my Cushcraft vertical in the
basement and put it up in the rain. Of course several bands had high SWR but I
didn't want to screw around with it in the cold and wet. Lots of CQing in my
face and very few answers to my own CQs. None the less I had a good time and
that is what it is all about.
