This is the second phone contest I've operated remotely with no microphone (the
other was IARU). Still have not gotten the microphone working on my K3/0 so I
was limited to the messages recorded in the K3 before I left home. Actually our
Internet connection here in Colorado is so poor I doubt I could have used a
microphone effectively anyway - lots of drop outs on receive and our upload
bandwidth is 1/10 the download speed. Obviously 100% S&P and just tried to
maximize multipliers. Sure a lot more fun from home! Was surprised to see I had
put in 7 hours when it was over.
