Comments:

A couple of good runs on 15 and 20. Still at a big disadvantage on 40 and 80,
due to ground-mounted GAP Titan DX. Tried to tune into the 160M W8AMZ
shortened sloper on 40/80, signals came up from the vertical, but so did local
power-line noise. Made a couple of contacts on 40 using the sloper, but soon
moved to 160M, likely too early. I have 'RF in the shack' issues on 160M,
though (I'm going to try a ferrite bead UNUN choke to see if it calms that
down). Sometimes the K3 would display KPA500 status messages (and I don't have
a KPA500!). I think it was due to RF getting in to the AUX bus connecter,
because I have a daisy-chained connector chain on that bus, connecting my 2M
and 70CM transverters, and a KRC2 which I use to control my tower-mounted
remote antenna switch for my 6-band 2-el spider-boom quad (it's a thing of
beauty) which is up 40 feet. On 10-15-20, I'm told from time to time I have
the loudest signal on the band, barefoot at 100W.
