I finally got my station back up to 100% with SO2R working, but I'm here to tell
you that SO2R and texting go together about as well as texting and driving! Some
of you might have noticed and I apologize. About half way through the Sprint,
we added a first grandson with updates coming in by text throughout! I almost
changed my Sprint name but decided that would be too confusing :-) And of
course every time I worked AZ, I wished I had been there ...
Excellent conditions this evening. Overall, I missed WY, ND, NE, KS (as usual),
IA, AL, MD (heard), VT (heard), NT, AB, SK, and QC. KP2 and XE also made it
into the log. Lots of 3-banders. Enjoyed it as always .. a most memorable
February 1 (and UTC February 2). Does that mean a regular birthday and a ham
radio birthday ???
