Comments:

I really messed this one up. I got back to Japan Wednesday evening and didn't
have time to check things out before getting on the air today (Friday morning
here). For remote work, I use two relays to switch among four antennas. The
relays connect to the two antenna inputs on the TS-480, and by switching the
relays on or off using an internet switch, I select the right antenna for each
band. Apparently I reversed the antennas on one of the relays before I left
Ohio so tonight I was using the 160 antenna on 40 and the 40 antenna on 160.
The former worked somewhat and it was not until I got to 160 and couldn't get
the antennas to load that I realized my mistake. I have to go online to switch
the relays on and off with an Internet switch, and this takes a little time. By
the time I set things right, it was too late to make any contacts on 160. Too
bad, because it sounded like 160 was in really good shape.

I should be able to do better next week.

73, Hal W1NN
