Comments:
Since I had too many daytime commitments to put the hours into the NAQP RTTY, I
decided to see what my little 160 meter HOA restricted antenna would do on SSB
Friday and Saturday night. This was my first try ever in a 160 meter SSB
contest. Most stations in the west could hear me, but only a few in the east.
My most distant contacts were in PA and GA. The little antenna did not work
very well, but better than I expected.
K3, AL-811H amp, N1MM
temporary vertical, consisting of a large coil, 17 foot whip, 12 short radials
and one long radial.
