My first on-the air experience with the "Solid State / Software
Defined" CW paddle that I picked up at Dayton. It is made by 9A5N and
uses a MEMs device to sense paddle pressure. It is programmable between 5 and
50 grams of pressure and I set mine to 20 grams. No paddle lever movement and
works great. 40 was very noisy this morning and I only heard one signal on 10
(F6HKA) who I worked. 15 and 20 were the bands with the most activity. Thanks
