Comments:
I operated QRP portable from Etienne Brule Lookout in Gatineau Park, Quebec near
Ottawa.
I used an FT-817 with a 12v 7Ah battery, a 4el 2m yagi and a 10el 70cm yagi
20ft above ground level on a portable mast. The location is spectacular, about
800 feet above the terrrain to the south. However, the site is blocked to the
east.
I forgot my 6m antenna, but I made two local QSOs using my 2m antenna's coax as
a random wire.
