Comments:

I decided only a few days before the contest to get on the air since the weather
would be nice and I would be operating in the open. 

I set up a Buddipole dipole for a 6M and an Elk dual band 2m/440 on a tripod.
Wow being on top of a 15 story building does wonders as a natural amplifier.
Unfortunately I had blockage to the West with some tall buildings and the
Willis tower to the North. Still I managed 81 contacts in 3.5 hrs with my
shoestring setup on Sunday. FL, TX and CO where pouring in at times. I found
running was more effective than S&P. May have to try the same set up and
location next year.
