Operating from Salisbury Beach State Campground/Reservation in Salisbury, MA
about 1 mile South of the NH border on the mouth of the Merrimack River to the
Atlantic. Nice steady breeze, but warm.
We decided to stay another day and I had not set the rig up yet, the 3830 posts
were coming through after the first session to remind of the 19z session.
I really QLF'd W1FJ when the only macro setup on the seldom used rig was CQ and
it started playing. I was excited he heard me, maybe! Thanks AlMA!
Worked some fantastic DX- Thanks guys!
Rig=TS-2000 Kenwood with 100w into a Buddipole set for 20m about 8' high and
horizontal broadside E/W. No CAT all hand send except for CQ. The campsite
breaker tripped when the XYL started the coffee pot during my CQ. Had to QRP
until it was brewed!
May be on for the late session depending on WX.
