Ugh, I'm glad this wasn't a ladder night.
Lesson number one. Figure out how to turn down the sidetone before blasting
myself deaf.
Lesson number two: Don't eat crackers when trying to copy weak CW. It sounds
weak
because the loud sidetone is moving my hearing threshold.
Lesson three: Operating QRP on 80m and 160m before sunset is a big waste of
time.
20m was somewhat weak, but a few people were workable.
40m better, but hard to work even CA.
80m 160m See "Lesson three" above.
Well, at least I figured out how to turn down the sidetone afterwards.
And all the loud crackers are eaten.
