First 144 sprint (what happened to the rookie category?). Portable with 7el
beam, very windy so only had the antenna up ~14ft. Personal record 530km to
K1WHS. Quite a few times new grids would appear then disappear before I could
work them, sometimes really loud. Still getting used to the weirdness of VHF
propagation.
