Comments:

What a waste of a half-hour. I put up a new indoor antenna a couple of days ago.
Get on tonight to test it a little. Not a peep of an NS signal on 20. Everybody
pee weak on 40. Work KY4F. NO3M calls me. That's it. KY4F was the only guy loud
enough I felt like calling. Everybody else pretty much at my noise threshold.

I turn everything off, discouraged. How can an end-fed 67-ft wire be so much
worse than a 90-foot centerfed wire that had been in exactly the same place on
the wall? I moped around, thinking what to try next for an antenna. Then I look
at 3830 and discover it was "QRP Night." The joke was on me.

Signals heard in the noise on 40: W9RE, WJ9B, K4BAI, KW8N, N4OGW, W1U?. I guess
I should have called you.
