Comments:
Late start. Good conditions. Found the problem with my 6BTV on 80. Tip of 80
meter Hustler on top was arcing to the PVC top cover of the flagpole, burned
and cracked. Removed the top 2 ft section of PVC and problem solved. Now have
2.5 ft of whip above top of flagpole and flag flying 2 ft lower. If I can work
W6SX in CA and VE3KI in ON from FL on 80 with 23 ft vertical, who cares? Flex
3000 driving AL-811H, 600 watts to 6BTV disguised as flagpole.
