Comments:
Just a token effort from here. The real action was all about what was coming from
the new ice cream maker of xyl Sandy N7RQ. Some really great ice cream! After
those treats, and some fine meals, plus NHL games and NFL games etc, the three
of us (Sandy N7RQ, Andy NY7N and Me K8IA)did find a few moments to do some
contesting.
The entry says Multi-Multi. In reality this wasnt even a Multi-Two, since our
two radio positions were unstaffed a lot. (Read the first pgh). But there isn't
a Multi-Two category, so we are Multi-Multi for this one.
This was a good opportuntiy to shake down the station for the upcoming CQWW
efforts planned for here. In that regard, it did uncover some new tech problems
that need my attention.
It was good to share the shack with Andy NY7N again too. He (Sandy too) on ssb
and me on cw is a fun time. Andy hasn't operated from here since last year and
his ssb skills are still always cool to observe. Nice to see him enjoy the
moment.
Of course, big tnx to Sandy N7RQ for her operating shifts, meals, ice cream and
the usual care.
See you CQWW SSB in two weeks and CQWW CW in seven weeks.
73, Bob K8IA
