Comments:
I decided once again to do a 10 meter only contest as the band was on fire - as
good as I have heard it in the last 4 years of CQWW.
I set an objective of 1000 QSOs, 35 Zones, and 150 Countries - I ended up 5
short on the country count - several came on in the last hour, but they were
only working west coast.
This was classic 10 meters - Europe in the morning, South America in the
afternoon, and Japan and Pacific in the evening. I received many 5-9 +30
reports from all areas of the world, testifying to the fantastic conditions.
I heard a number of the MWA crew around the band - K0KX, K0TT, K0MD, NE0U,
W0AIH, W0GJ, and WA0MHJ among others. Fun to hear the Midwesterners in there
cracking skulls.
Lots of DX and great conditions - we'll see if holds up for CQWW CW next
month.
