Comments:

Great conditions except 160 and 80...but 10 made up for it! 15 never seemed to
come alive even at peak times...so I stayed on 10 most of the contest.

Main problem was the Heil mike...first the left ear became intermittant...and
then the mike...tried to fix but gave up. Then tried to use the K3 Heil
mike..the earphones worked but not the mike. So then I found the mike Yaesu
send me with the FT2000D...and used that push to talk for half the
contest...not fun and now my hand is sore...and it slowed down my call entry.

This was the first test of the 4el Steppir at 75ft...and it worked
great...thanks to all who told me I was LOUD. I also put up a rotary 40 meter
dipole at 75ft...the Driven from my 402ba...and it worked great as well!!

Unfortunately...much of the antenna work was on Friday...so I was dead tired at
the contest start and slept more than normal missing a lot of good stuff.

Thanks to all who called...see you in the CW contest!!!
