Comments:
A sort of impromptu 4 radio M/M so everyone could get as much op time as they
wanted. Lots of good runs and interesting condx to go around. Great to have
KU1CW join the team from the Portland area. Experienced CW op WJ9B even
enjoyed his *first* SSB multi op contest!
It seemed to me that the usual differences in propagation between the boys in
WWA (K7RL, W7WA, W7VJ etc), the big gun in MT (N9RV), and Baker was more
dramatic this year. When it was good it was REAL good... but when it was
bad... it was normal W7.
We got the last radio setup and working with a few minutes to spare. A quick
change of software on 4 computers was a snap, with only a few hiccups that were
eventually solved. It wouldn't be a contest without a last minute scramble to
get things going! Funny how computers are always the hardest part of this
hobby.
Thanks to Joe and Sharon for hosting again. Their hospitality is certainly
second to none!

air in the heat of the battle!
