TS-590, KPA500, vertical, low dipoles and N1MM. My first SS since 1974. Seemed
very odd the first time I heard someone report CK = 12... 1912? Wow, that guys
is OLD! No, wait, wrong century :-) I am having hearing problems due to brain
tumor so went S&P the whole time so I could hear lots of repeats. For me, 81
sections is really good, only missed some Canadians. Did lots of spotting for
NCCC, just like the boss told me. High point: Got to hear one of my ham radio
heroes, W7ZOI, running QRP as he always does.
