Last mult needed was VY1/VE8... had heard VE8EV give NR5M superstation QSO nr 4
last nite on 40..
so figured the odds of having him call me were pretty slim.
Late today on 15 tuned on to a local (i mean REALLY LOCAL.. half a mile away
due east..WA7AA pinning my meter) as VY1EI answered his CQ ... VY1EI was QRP..
So tried to nudge up as close as one can to a 60 over 9 "CQ SS" from
the neighbor but not too far away from him, so
that the VY might happen upon me calling him. Called VY1EI for about 3 or 4
solid minutes, called up, called down, beaming NE, and he finally came
back...for the sweep.
