Comments:
Field Day type of Operation From Work. Tower Trailer Set Up 35' Tall With a 150'
total Length Inv L. Rolled out 5 full size radials and SWR and performance
seemed acceptable w/o any further tuning Than installing a series capacitor and
wrapping it up in a plastic bag to protect it from the elements. Amazing what
50W on 160 M CW can work with a modest station and lots of patience. Sat Nite
Was Avg to slightly flat as the conditions were constantly fluttering about
from good to ESP... alot of repeats. Sunday I arrived after dark and found
several new multipliers as the band was shorter and much noisier. after several
passes through the band without anything new I elected to not stay the whole
night, packing it in at 1 am. Thanks to everyone who took the time to confirm
my exchange... Thanks to those pesky prefills alot of people show me still in
NV which tends to confuse people at 3 AM when they receive NTX instead.... FIX
THE PREFILLS ALREADY!!!!!
