Comments:
We did this for fun in between last weekend's CQWW CW (serious)and next
weekend's 10 Meter Contest (also serious). Used our new club K3 donated to us
by John, K8WDN (SK). We're honored to have John's radio, and hope we'll use it
in a way that would make him proud.
Thanks to everyone for your patience and for all the fills. If you've never
operated 1.8 MHz from the tropics there's no way you can imagine the noise.
Overall, both nights were fairly quiet, but "quiet" by tropical
standards is a whole different animal.
Thanks to K2PLF and N4RV for their tremendous ears and patience and operating
stamina.
