Comments:
Heathkit HW-9, 3-4 watts and HF9V.....tuff sledding ! Keying sidetone sounded
wicked bad....like all the dashes were run together. I hope it didn't sound as
band on the air.
Thanks to Steve N8BJQ for the 3 bands I operated. (20-40-80) The Hw-9 has no
160 so I didn't look there and 15 was dead at the start here (11pm start).
It was rough going as the ol' Heathkit is not terribly selective, but I even
managed a SM on 80m with QRPp...how about that? HI !
Lotta fun, but next week it'll be my 7410 and amp again, or 857d and 100w from
the car.
Thanks all !
Mike Hw-9 ~3w and Hf9V, Bencher paddles, MFJ keyer and 1amp power supply.
