Comments:

K3CCR is the club station at the Collington retirement community.
For ARRL 10 m N3UM and K3DI were available to operate, plus N3ADY
for a brief trial. In the first 52 min. Fri. PM, N3UM found the
band not quite dead and got GA, OR, CA, BC, AZ, and PY plus MD,
DC, and 4 contiguous states in 48 CW QSOs. Then on SSB there was
one PY, but the 23 other SSB QSOs in 25 min. were all LOS, in MD,
VA, and DC, many PVRCers. N3ADY sampled contesting Sat. morning
around 1400 and made 10 EU SSB QSOs. N3UM made a few EU SSB QSOs
and then 100 CW QSOs and 32 mults, mostly EU but with the usual
western provinces and states off the back of the beam (some semi-
rare: SK, ID, NM, NV, and UT, plus NC on backscatter). N3UM was
away both afternoons. K3DI got 53 CW QSOs and 16 mults Sat. PM,
including ZL, LU, JA, and KH6. Sun. AM N3UM got 178 CW QSOs and
38 mults, mostly EU. Sun. PM K3DI made 104 CW QSOs and 22 mults,
including a VK. Propagation and activity level were good.
