Came out to the shack just before 1900 with the aim of lowering my doublet to
give the fibreglass pole a fighting chance in the winds forecast to increase to
70mph+. only to see it keeling over alarmingly. Something had come adrift but I
managed to telescope it back down in the rainy dark without mishap.
So just my 40m 1/4 wave vertical tonight....:-(
