This is still a fun 10 hours...
I pulled the biggest bummer here in a long time...
Started out on 10m....could barely hear anyone...had 4 Q's in the first
few mins...then went to 15 and it was almost dead too!! What is going
on?? After an hour or so of that, I went to 20m and it was wide open..
Discovered during the time on 20, that I had forgot that I had been
checking all the bands with a new loop I put up on Friday...and, the
FT5000dx went back to the RX antennas....the loop was like a dummy load
on the higher bands....by the time I went back to 10, it was really
slowing down...and 15 was some better...low numbers on those bands due
to my mistake..! 20m was a work-horse, simply because it had to be...
Still a lot of fun but score down from the last few years..
