Well, that was about as bad as I expected. Talk about taking one for the team
(and I think I'm not even on a team) ... I got on to thank the organizers for
wisely making DC and each Maritime province a separate mult.
Not only did I get my teeth kicked in on 20M and a lot of 40M, but I had to
give repeats when "the QRM is clobbering you" ... and I could not
hear anybody else. Some success when I inherited a freq that had been opened
up by a loud CQer. Lots of waiting to be second or third QSO on a freq. (You
might think that such sitting and waiting is bad strategy, but when you can't
hear any but the loud sig's, it works as well as anything.)
Finally got a little something going when the circus shifted to 80M, where my
ant is at less of a disadvantage.
Heard about 10 mults that I could not attract.
