Lets do it again. There is quite a science to doing the Sprint. It is an art
to properly do S&P. There are many stations that do not always do it to
format and so repeats need to be made. Listen closely and take good notes. The
usual question was what is your call sign. The next was the name, especially
if there is a spelling question to be had. It really helps to get to know your
fellow operators. Learn the habits of the operators, will the op go up or down.
If no one answers after the second qso it is time to qsy, because all are
listening somewhere else. Good exercise to be certain that the station is
working without any issues. This is a real eye opener.
Congratulations to the new committee for taking up this competition. I look
forward to trying this again.
