Comments:

My first ever QRP contest. KX3 - 5 W - 80ft long zig zag wire 10-20 ft high
mainly on the roof of the house. Still remember my first ARRL CW in 1963 with
homemade equipments some 50 W and 2-el quad - about 50 q's on 21 MHz. It was
the experience for a schoolboy. This time the experience was new after
operating decades with high power and big beams. I learned that SFO Bay is far
from everything but I also learned that good known operators in the other end
are giving attention for weak signals. Three stations: KH6LC, KH7XX and JA7ZFN
worked on five bands. Now I would like to know if QRP is a fun with big beams?
