My entry in the contest was only to see how is to operate CQWW160SSB contest
from LU (I'd operated this contest several years from VE2 and VE3). As Mario
LU8DPM and Eddy LU2DKT always say: operate in CQWW160 SSB from LU is for
masochist only people and it requires a great deal of patience and
perseverance, because almost nobody has RX antennas aimed for SA...

During the 10 hours that I was listening to the contest, I've copied around
100 different stations and called half of them, but only got 9 QSOs... The
strongest stations called without answer were: From EU OM7M (strongest EU
signal), IZ4DPV, YU1EXY, UA2F, EA3QP, HG8DX, TO66R from Caribe and from NA
XE1RCS and AK5DX (strongest US signal all night long)... these two NAs were
called more than 100 times but never get a QRZ?.

Definitely to operate from this South land in SSB was a huge experience…

See you next weekend in ARRL DX SSB I'll be part of LU8YE's M2 team.
