Comments:
The condxs this weekend reminded me that I need a bigger antenna - and they are
not going to improve anytime soon.
Not sure why I inflicted this on myself but the combination of SSB, low power,
and weakening band condxs stressed the HexBeam @ 25 ft to its max. Just could
not get any runs going on the high bands. I could hear the big guns running
Europeans Sat/Sun on 10 meters but I could not get them to bite. Wound up
being almost exclusively S&P. Hopefully a tower is in my near future.
