Comments:
Many thanks to the folks at SRR for another great RDXC contest. Even with less
than stellar conditions, it was still a very enjoyable 24 hours. Thank you to
all the operators that moved to another band for a multiplier this weekend. I
don't think a single person said no all day! Thanks!
I usually mention this in my 3830 posts, but I continue to be very grateful to
my good friend Kurt, W6PH, who is currently loaning to me his AB-577 mast. I
use it to raise a rotatable tribander for contests. It makes a huge difference
in my scores while I "store it vertically" at my QTH until he is ready
to use it again in the future. Thanks again, Kurt!
The first 7 hours was a struggle to keep the rate up doing dual S&P amid
feeble attempts to get a run going on any of the bands. It wasn't until I got
a run going on 20 later in our local afternoon that it felt like the bands were
starting to return to some semblance of normal.
73,
Bob
