Comments:

QRP operation in Andover, Mass at 130' ASL.
Weather was sunny, dry, and 62F-83F.

Station Equipment:
- Yaesu FT-817ND
- 1/2 λ 6m aluminum dipole, homemade
- Elk 2M/440L5 portable log periodic antenna
- 1/2 λ 2m whip

Busy, so no outdoors hilltop DXpedition this time. Portable QRP kit at home
with 12V gel-cell battery, antennas mounted on wooden deck outside, and
flexibility to operate here and there all weekend between tasks and outings as
I pleased.

Conditions were flat until Sunday night. Turned on the radio around 0100 and
heard EMs. Enhancement gone by 0135. Success with 3 of 4 EM stations heard.

All 6m QSOs made from the dipole fixed in a SW-NE pattern. I worked 2m from an
indoor vertical whip on Saturday. On Sunday, 2m and 432 were on the Elk
outside. Wish I had made more 432 QSOs.

Satisfying contest. Nice to have an exciting enhancement.

73, Alexander N1PRW
