Another totally sub-par June contest weekend--seems the hours of Es declines
each contest. Not even 1 qso via Es all day Saturday--only tropo and scatter
contacts. The only 2 redeeming factors were a short yet strong Es opening late
Sunday to 4s & 5s for a measly 2 hours and the new IC-7600 performed
flawlessly.
On Sunday though, did work a handful of Carib. stations and 1 solitary European
(CT1HZE) but no qsos were ever logged West of the Mississippi.
Another dismal ARRL June Contest weekend in a row of many years now.
