Comments:
Although my ALPHA 87A had worked fine earlier in the day, just prior to the
contest start it blew its fuses and went into what the manual refers as a hard
failure (CALL FACTORY). I thus started the contest in low power mode. 20m went
early as did 40m with most activity on 80m for the last two hours. For 80m, I
took some time out and hooked up the KPA500 from my CQP stash, so am now in HP
mode. Not much luck on the mults either; even missed IL!
