Comments:
Due to family needs, I stayed home on Saturday, operating FM only with the only
radios not already being used for the rover station. This is a very tough
category requiring a lot of patience. One tip that a leader in this category
taught me was to be willing to use horizontal polarization low in the band
(50.300) to pick up a few 6m QSOs that might not otherwise be possible. I had a
hamstick dipole for this purpose and it worked well.
