Comments:

Thanks to Bill and Kay for the use of the station. Bill was at AH0K so it was a
little bit strange operating without his presence. It was great to catch up
with him for a few minutes Saturday night.

My plan was mainly to work new band-countries. I am fairly close to 5BDXCC on
LOTW and was trying to finish that up. When I wasn't chasing new
band-countries, most of my time was spent chasing multipliers and friends
around the bands. I think only ran 2 or 3 times during the entire contest due
to all the time chasing spots, taking off times, and honestly not stressing.

It seemed that the bands were better on Fri night/Sat morning than on Sat
night/Sun morning. I had a very tough time working the Middle East on 10m on
Sunday morning. Also, I had a very rough time working two VU stations on 20m
on Sat afternoon. The stations were an honest s7, but it seemed that both
could barely barely hear me.

I also noted a substantial amount of out-of-band operation by both EU and NA on
several bands where stations were working split. If the contest committee is
trying to 'clean the contest up' this might be of interest. I'm not saying
"They were 14150.5 and they were splattering out-of-band..."... I'm
saying more along the lines of "They were calling a station on
14.132"

Thanks again for the contacts and the relaxed contest.
