Really tough conditions up here this weekend on 40m. A k=3 is enough to really
disturb things. European signals were very light on Friday and Saturday
evenings and every contact was a real struggle. Missed lots of usual Eu mults.
No long path in the morning to Eu. All runs were to US with a couple to JA on
Saturday morning but none to EU so the points per QSO was only 2.1. Only zone I
heard but missed was z26. Condx on Sunday evening were greatly improved but
"too little too late". Lets hope CW is better.
As always Don was a great host making his station available and making sure I
eat and drink.
