Comments:
I am a High-Power fan (see my call!), but this year I decided to give it a try
on Low-Power category, challenging the YO record on SOA-LP-20m. Most of the
time I operated with 4 el Optibeam beaming NW and 3 el Optibeam beaming NE. I
knew there is no chance for good runs on W and JA, but I was pleased with the
EU responses to my CQ-s. It was frustrating to call USA big guns (K1LZ, K5TR
etc) for 5-6 minutes without reply, but, on the other side, it was really nice
to work E51EAQ and 5W1SA, via short-path, on the first call. Overall it was a
nice contest, but I am not sure I will repeat the Low-Power experience.
See you all in CQ-WW-CW! 73, Alex YO9HP
