Comments:
Despite the excellent conditions on 40M tonight I had to pack it in early. Spent
the entire day in Anchorage with the XYL taking her for a Dr. appointment and
then being treated to hours of combat shopping. Just got home an hour before
the 0300Z start, unloaded all the "essential" stuff we hauled home,
bolted down a quick slice of pizza and hit the radio. Then the air went out of
my balloon! Couldn't get my mind in gear to handle running a frequency so just
did S&P to make the minimum number for another session. I must be getting
old!
Back to standard time by next Wed. so not sure if I will be making many more
0300Z attempts. That's 1800 local time in AK, just as the dinner bell is being
rung. Will have to see how that shakes out. Tnx to all for the Qs tonight.
