Comments:
Always fun, but a tougher year for QRP, at least on this end. Propagation could
have been better. Never heard AK, and the one weak HI station I copied was
calling others, not holding a FQ himself. Sad to see 10M open only briefly on
Sunday, and it was tough going on 80M from time to time. Appreciate the better
operators, who actually took a few moments to adjust RX gain and filters to copy
my exchange when necessary. Marginal propagation seems to tempt a few HP ops to
blow off weak signals and keep calling CQ until they hear someone S9. Need a
better 80M antenna, next year hopefully.
