Comments:
The QTH was at HK1NA. Usually there is a MultiMulti operation in CQWW at this
station.
This time, there was a major antenna service/remodeling process going on,
particularly on the low bands. Thus, a MM operation was not feasible.
I am grateful to Jorge, HK1R and to Sal, HK1T for offering me to operate 10M
single band, despite being in the middle of the antenna repair works.
Rig: ICOM-7700 + Alpha amp.
Ant: 7 over 7 over 7 yagis.
Openings to EU were very short and signal levels low.
No propagation to Far East, so lost many countries and zones in taht area.
5J1E was a new Colombian prefix, quite a challenging one to copy.
Many took is as HJ1E at the first try. Some did not believe it really was 5J1E,
thinking that I am a bad CW op not able to make a distiction between H and 5...
