Comments:

Had my best session going until Murphy hit! Had 30 Qs on 40 at about the half
hour and then went to 80. I had worked several hours on Saturday on the new 80
dipole. Worked great, low SWR. So tonight, I moved over to 80 and tripped the
amp and full scaled the SWR. Took a look at all the coax connectors, got the
right ones where they belong. Kept trying, tightening coax, etc. Turned the
amp off, tried through the AT600Pro, without the tuner, thought I had it,
called K6RB and it was intermittent through the Q. Sorry Rob! Sat here and
thought about it and couldn't figure it out. So went back to 40 and still
caught a few Qs. Not the best condx on 40 tonight. Could hear some calling
but just could not pick them out. Sorry. Thanks to all for the QSOs. Back to
work Saturday on the 80 dipole. In spite of Mr. Murphy's visit, still a load of
fun. Did almost all runs. Took a couple of tries on some but thanks for their
patience. See you next week. 73
