This is my all time favorite contest.
Early in the week I put an inverted L antenna in the pine trees. It was up
about 60 feet and had two elevated radials running in all directions to keep
them in the yard. This was my main antenna even though I had my 160 meter
windom as a standby. Also had an 80 meter loop I thought might help in receive
but in the end I used the inverted L about 75% of the time or more.
I had to take the xyl to the Columbus Zoo Saturday evening so I didn't get on
the air Saturday until about 11 PM.
A lot of really good operators in this contest. Thanks for all the Q's.
