Discovered that my FT-1000 is only putting out 93 watts... However, I had some
pretty good runs.
Had a pretty big distraction. The kids were away at the grand parent's house.
While operating, my wife ambushed me wearing nothing but a
towel.....Soooo....While I love DX, I love THAT better!!!!
I was questioned several times if I was running 100 watts! I responded that I
was not even able to run the full 100 watts, as my new PowerMaster wattmeter
revealed that my 1000 was only putting out a max of 93 watts!
Clearly, the Hy-Gain TH-7 and 40 meter yagi was doing extremely well.....
