Comments:
I operated this contest the old fashioned way, as I always do: One radio, one
operator. After the rain static cleared from 40 meters, it was very
quiet.....S2 noise level. I thought, great, 80 and 160 meters will be quiet
too. Wrong!!!! Noise level was 10-15db over on 80 meters and 20-25db over on
160 meters. I left some operating time on the table and put my ears to bed. Of
course, the noise level on 160 meters was S3. Thanks to the ops who moved to
help my pathetic multiplier total.
