Comments:
Last minute inspiration: tried to put up a quarter-wave 80 meter wire vertical
(more sloping upward than vertical) with a single counterpoise 2 hours before
the contest start - NOT a good strategy in near darkness. Ended up unusable
because the ATU wouldn't touch it, so the 20 meter Lazy-H was again my sole
antenna for all bands. First time contributing to a team score in NA Sprint -
I'll have new motivation to improve my antennas well before the next event
instead of a fruitless last-minute exercise in frustration. Thanks to all for
