Comments:
Had to use my old SB-220 and Icom 746 because B&W 6 Band Amp failed and was
therefore barefoot at 100W on 160M where I was amazed at the good propagation
to Zones 6,7,8,9,10. Love that 746 - It's an amazing radio with great clean
audio and adequate filters (250/500 Hz at 9 MHz and 500 Hz at 455 KHz)
Antennas
160 Inverted-L to East, Elevated GP w/2 radials to West (130 ft tower between)
80 Elevated GP with Reflector to EU, Wire Vertical in tree to SE
40 Sloping 80M dipole from 120 ft fed with LadderLine to Eastern Hemisphere
Vertically Polarized Delta Loop at 45 ft to Western Hemisphere
20/15/10 TH7 at 40 ft plus Inverted Vee /Ladderline aimed at JA/S.A. at 50
ft.
Focused on Multipliers and Multi-Band QSO's using the N1MM Available Multiplier
Sheet and Band-Map sheet for most contacts.
Caught most of the short 10M opening to EU Sunday Morning working as far as LY
and UA2. May have missed the first 15 minutes or so.
Multi-Band QSOs:
6 Bands = 16 calls
5 Bands = 24 calls
4 Bands = 58 calls
3 Bands = 55 calls
2 Bands = 106 calls
1 Band = 413 calls
Peak hours had 76,73,68,59,49,48,48,44,44,43 QSOs by the point-and-click mode.
Thanks to KG4CUY for writing his Cabstat program to list QSO's by number of
bands and compiling the rate list.
