144 MHz Spring Sprint

Call: K9JK/R
Operator(s): K9JK
Station: C0ROVEROLLA

Class: Rover LP
QTH: IL-EN51/52/61/62
Operating Time (hrs): 2

Summary:
Total: QSOs = 49 Mults = 21 Tot Dist(km) = 3106 Total Score = 1,029

Club:

Comments:

Decent activity, helped by two other local Rovers out and about, but it had
definitely quieted down by the end of the second hour so I wrapped it up.

Mults total is based on 'classic' Rover scoring; count mults separately from
each grid-4 visited and add them up. Seven unique grid-4s worked.

Breakdown by Grid-4s I visited:

Grid Qs Ms
EN51 11 5
EN52 10 4
EN61 14 6
EN62 14 6
Tot. 49 21

Total DX - 3106 km

Bettered last year's Spring QSO and Mult. counts, more than doubling my score
from 2015 and closER to 2014's numbers (58 x 27 = 1566).

Best DX to W9JN in EN54dn from EN51xx, 317 km. Two more QSOs with KB8U at 282
km each and another 9 over 100 km.

16 different calls worked, worked 6 of those from all four of the Grid-4s I
visited.

Thanks to Kent, KA2KQM, and Mike, WB8BZK, for their continued work as the
Spring Sprint hosting team and to Central States for their sponsorship.

Thanks also to ALL who were on and participated in the 2016 144 MHz Spring
Sprint.

73, JK
